|Date||January 24, 1925|
Image of a winter scene with a darkened sky. A total eclipse of the sun.
Written below: Total eclipse of the sun January 24, 1925 at 9 a.m. Seen by W. C. Pearson. I was living on the farm and I was at the barn doing chores. The hens got down off their roosts and started scratching as usual. When it got dark, they climbed on their roosts. It again became light in a few minutes. They looked foolish as they got down.
